The AOH Roseby drill results, unlike those of CuDeco, mostly do not start from surface which looks to me like a more costly underground operation is required for Roseby whereas Rocklands South and Las Minerale are both open cuts .
That's actually incorrect. Roseby is entirely open-cut and mineralisation generally starts from surface or very close to it. In fact Roseby has a much better strip ratio than Rocklands does - 1.8 vs 3.2.
It goes all the way down to 300m or so. The planned depth of the box cut at Little Eva is 240m IIRC.
Roseby is similar to Rocklands in many respects. In fact the global resources are practically identical, same size and grade. But Rocklands has a much better high grade zone to start mining than does Roseby.
