I have stated before that nominees accounts that are held within a financiai institution are represented under the one single nominee account. As such, if the nominees accounts amount to a level within the top twenty shareholders, that account would appear in that list. Now, if you can say how many shares are needed to fall in the top twenty, you would realise that those shares would not amount to much. And most importantly, if that nominees account would have amounted to 5% or more it would have had to be properly announced to the market.
A list of the top twenty was posted not so long ago in the HC threads. Besides, the Company Secretary would be aware of all the shares in any nominee account in a Financial Institution that represent all of the nominees within it.
Two of my portfolios that holds CDU shares are held in an NAB Online Trading account, and they are listed as NAB Nominees Accounts. My name does not appear in any way or form in that account, while the third portfolio that is under my name, is listed as such.
