Hi Hoot,
Thanks for the article. A startling and scary piece of news for Australian share holders.
The resignation of two Australian Directors from the ASX after the malpractice was revealed, is not nice news, especially for Mum and Dad investors and Superannuation Fund clients, from a local aspect.
Perhaps this is an opportune time for the Senate Inquiry getting underway in October to investigate fully.
The Senate Inquiry can have a closer look at what has transpired, as there is the possibility similar types of manipulative activities have been undertaken in Australia.
I sincerely hope that CuDeco did not get similar unwanted attention. It certainly puts the ASX in a bad light.
I have submitted a Statement to ASIC, the Treasurer and the Senate Committee for CuDeco(CDU) Limited to be used as a guinea pig to see just what is going on in trading, and which could also relate to companies across the ASX as high-lighted in the "CuDeco Shareholder Research" Document.
It will be interesting to see what eventuates to better regulate the system now in operation.
cheers,
Max
