The EV calcs are right- but it is worth noting that EV consideration in a junior O/G takeover is a 5min calc done after they have valued the reserves and resources.
An EV is more applicable to non-miner, for example: comparing the EV is a lot more applicable than comparing two junior O/G
The finest mis-use of EV was BUY releasing an increase of EV per share for their pep11 project. Effectively throwing their anticipated debt on top as if it was a good thing and not stating their debt ratio.
