camels are shot because of lack of water... (poor excuse) now that the rains has come it's time to seriously discuss how to drought proof Australia. Farmers are doing it rough and long drought is always occurring. how hard is it to dig a ditch to connect dry lands to plentiful rainfall areas in Australia.... this needs to be looked at and not laughed at. many countries have done it, the roman's built aqueducts to transport water and Babylonian had the gardens irrigated by man made ravines.
