It is interesting to note that there area number of large direct compeditors developing SOFC based Fuel Cell products. This will help CFU credibility to take the SOFC path.
It also highlights the need and potential for CFU to develop some additional product ranges beyond home based power systems.
Generators and larger RAPAS systems are only the beginning of the list of additional products CFU can develop with their now proven world class fuel cells and Blue Gen etc.
IMO the production facilities in Britain and Germany will be operating at capacity before too long.
Ballard and others like Plug Power have been developing and (for the past couple of years) selling a number of commercial PEM Fuel Cell products and yes they are in Japan partnered with Tokyo Gas re home based Fuel cell systems. Refer to the Ballard web for some more ideas of product development. Bear in mind that Ballard has been around many more years than CFU with huge US military and car industry support. Their product is IMO not as good as CFU's. http://www.ballard.com/
