some conspiracy theorists were saying this would happen with the banks, they would have their netbanking go out to stop people rushing on withdrawing cash when the banks got in trouble, like northern rock. I wonder if comsec being down is a bit of a ploy to try to help calm the market a bit?
Mind you - they should be online now due to massive profits in selling brokerages, not to mention people trying to buy cheapies...
