The number of nursing home deaths under Cuomo was under-counted by a significant margin, says WaPo Op-Ed columinist, Marc Thiessen.
Cuomo not only lied to Dept Justice but more critically lied to public health officials (CDC) last May who were desperately trying to understand how the virus had arrived and was spreading, who was dying and where they were dying.
"It was (like) providing false intelligence to battlefield commanders in the middle of battle at a time of war. The New York variant was the one which spread across the US. It wasn't the West Coast variant which came straight from China. It was the East Coast variant which arrived in New York, and New York seeded the pandemic across the entire country."
The New York Times reported last year that the New York variant was responsible for 70 percent of covid-19 cases in Texas, 78 percent of cases in Wisconsin, 80 percent in Alaska, 84 percent in Arizona and 100 percent in Louisiana. As Nathan Grubaugh, an epidemiologist at the Yale School of Public Health, told the Times, “New York was the primary gateway for the rest of the country.”
Impeach!
Cuomo is a goner. But it's all Trump's fault, of course.
