It's not that simple Pug.

Most photographic silver is recovered and recycled. But there is a little silver used in printing from digital, in the quality paper I assume which cannot be recovered.

But anyway, we went digital nearly 10 years ago so it's not as if this is new. Will the emerging consumer class in Chindia buy the computer and go digital or buy a cheap film camera? I don't know.
