We need consensus on where Australia is heading and where it ought to be heading.
IMO, Australia needs a 20 year economic plan bilaterally agreed and upgradedtweeked every
3 years. As such major items such as education which can take a decade post primary school
can be planned and provisioned for. Similarily, infrastructure.
At present party politics is a farce and a selfish game of who is elected rather than the
long term economic wellbeing of us all. There is growing apathy among ordinary people
who are now prepared to vote for independants with no macro-economic policies rather
than political hacks whose sole interest seems to be.."what's in it for me"?
