    Yes you're bang on the money there AB.

    PC, I was always of the understanding that Q and E have always been separate entities. I know they called it a "demerger" in a letter I have but my understanding was that it was an in-specie distribution of E's shareholding in Q to individual E holders. So we became direct holders of Q shares and no longer indirect holders.

    In the earlier days it was always the intention to keep Eco as the discovery engine and set up individual companies to develop a particular drug. They said in the correspondence etc that this was to protect the parent company if something went wrong and also make it palatable for a trade sale.

    Now there's mention of merging. Q could become too big for a trade sale so maybe partnering up and licensing is the direction we're headed.... I wonder if our new chairman has steered us in this direction.
