    It sure looks good. I have been following a Canadian company for about several years trying to do something similar. Their theory was that there is a gene preventing the normal cell death(apoptosis) making it imortal(cancer).
    They called it IAP(inhibitor of apoptosis)and used advanced antisense oligoneucleotide technology from Idera Pharmaceuticals to develop XIAP to neutralize the IAP and restore the normal cell death cycle. This has been an arduous 10year marathon to get to this stage. They have seen some efficacy in a phase 1.
    Can you imagine how they would feel if a little Aussie company squeezes some juice out of a seed and nails it:-)

    About the Alzheimers, Prana have already demonstrated in a clinical trial PBT2 can reverse alzheimers damage. The have published in Cell exactly how they did it(MOA), so good luck with that.
    This looks like a good buy just for the vetinarian market alone. Have they done any controlled trials? Here is the FDA guidance for approval in animals.
