The better buy IMO is Ecobiotics, the parent company, which holds around 75% of Qbiotics.
Whats gone under the radar somewhat is the new wound healing drug WH1. This has the potential to be a blockbuster drug in a market with no competition, apart from Manuka honey as described from the CEO. It's from the same seed so I suspect it's tied in with EBC-46 and maybe responsible for the massive healing response we've seen in the case studies. For those unaware far more graphic case studies have been shared at the presentations and AGM's over the years.
GeePeem, for what purpose do you wish to know the particular tree name for? The seed is poisonous with over 500 chemicals in it. To try to extract the drug yourself would be moronic and you'd be breaking the law by breaching Qbiotics (and us shareholders) patents. You would also endanger the the future of the drug ever making it to market.
Back on topic the company is aligning itself to be very marketable to big pharma. The conspiracy theorists out there have said that'll be the end of the drug but big pharma is screaming out for new drugs and the recent takeovers have seen massive windfalls for small biotechs. Of note is the mention of quarterly reporting from the CEO to a big pharma company.
