Not a fan of unionised Dan but thought he handled the pandemic quite well until the quarantine security debacle. This is what opened pandora's box. Of course there's always a percentage of idiots who won't follow the rules which has led to the expansion of virus cases which now has us in the situation it is in. As for the aged care industry, there's always bee a percentage of poorly run facilities who can't care for their residents under normal circumstances let alone in a pandemic. Again not enough government attention (bot State and federal) was given to ensuring proper governance. You get what you sow. And now all Victorians and indeed Australians (in one respect or another) are affected by this. What else can we do? Have to see how the next 6 weeks pans out. We shouldn't have had to get to this point but we're here. We need to continue doing what we know, and that is separation and limited movement helps get control back. Just do it.
