I was just about to respond to the question, you beat me to the punch. 0.045% death rate. This is for the population demographics of working age people who are being tragically and un-necessarily being thrown out of work and businesses ruined en masse. If the current draconian Vic lockdown measures reduce this to say 0.01% ( which is the average road death rate per year in Oz) then is this considered sufficient by Andrews, or is it 0.001%, or 0.0001% or what? Andrews would be reluctant to be pinned down on defining this, so as far as I see it, in that case, the lockdown continues for an indefinite period ( not the 6 weeks proposed). A zero rate is delusional, but then again, maybe we have a delusional Vic government.
