My understanding is two pilots were Dead-Sticking
(getting a free ride) and two pilots did all the flying
from Seoul to San Francisco via a route to took the
777 close to the Arctic Circle. Frozen ice in fuel
lines (breaking away on descent) and blocking
fuel supply was responsible for a similar but
not fatal 777 stall and crash in the UK.
