I too heard the early recording of the conversation between the pilots and the tower....the tower explained that rescue services would be ready and waiting, the voice's from the pilots where unintelligible to me an English speaker.
I really want to understand what happened here and have been waiting for someone to explain it.....did the media get the wrong recordings...some sort of confusion there possibly?...so very strange.
