re: rays of sunshine? Nosurprises - the Age item indicated Canadian Government is concerned and will look into the matter.
The government could hardly do less.
Hopefully Australian Government will do the same.
Once lawyer Richard Meeran's - Slater and Gordon sychophant - allegations have been exposed for what they are - improper and spurious allegations with no merit - the whole matter will come to a final conclusion and sympathy will swing towards Anvil.
That is the ray of sunshine!
I have no doubt that Richard Meeran is the party orchestrating the beat up.
I believe he was the "guiding influence" in the Four Corners disgusting beat up.
And that Four Corners correspondent Sally Neighbour was a willing servant.
That's what I think anyhow!
I believe Richard Meeran and his firm were well paid to do the deeds.

Note that in real terms Anvil's mining and bottom line have not been affected.
The share price is a classic "madness of the - crowds" situation.
Meaning contrarians should be buying with their ears back.
While the carry on is an absolute beat up and has had no affect on Anvil's mining operation I will be hoping the Chemaf challenge will be put down speedily - by the end of this month suggests Miningnut.
A successful defence by Anvil will enable share price to move forward as quickly as it went backwards.
Certainly the present bad press will have elevated much more interest and awareness of Anvil.
Which -- eventually --- could be a balancing positive.
