I guess its easy to speculate as the mind wanders and wallows in the longer than expected wait.
Ive wondered if (and given they stated in various ASX releases that there are ongoing discussions with interested parties,) perhaps the results of the scoping study somehow positively affect and or cause delay to those negotiations and further that the results have become commercially sensitive and or are cause for constraint in their release?
In the ASX Scoping Study release the decision to proceed was based on preliminary discussions with GRES that indicated the potential for a high value robust mine.
I have also speculated that the results of such a study may be quite detailed and complex and that the team at Kairos may need considerable time to determine which process options or production rate options provide the least risk and best business outcome and that this takes time and may need further clarification.
It may be that it takes considerable time to prepare an approved market release based on the complexity and or options revealed in the study.
Ive also speculated that the team at KAI may not be satisfied with initial results and could be going back to the engineers to check inputs or be seeking additional information elsewhere.
It certainly feels frustrating.
