How could the market have priced in the article when the article is positive and the sp has actually fallen slightly?
Certainly possible that the article has propped up the sp, however this contention MAY only be supported by the higher trade volume today (so far) - but certainly not by the sp.
Alos, I don't believe we can read a lot from the CNP denial. However can I suggest that the CBA, although disposing of some CNP, is still holding over 10% of the voting power and this would not be the case if things were looking like a resolution?
As to the sp, what we should be seeing is a steady increase in the sp as we get closer to announcement/s - this is only human nature, however with all the FUD, the sp is falling at the moment.
