Gidday A:
The consolidation is suggested to be 1 for 10. Presently the SP is .038, and after consolidation would be expected to be .38 - however consolidation seems to have a detrimental effect on shares historically (as indicated in the other thread, with quite a few examples posted)
OZGEM posted "after the shares settle at 20 cents" meaning that with a general expectation the shares will follow historical trends and find a new level the guesstimate for which is 20 cents. Ozgem is not referring to an actual figure as an actual figure is indeterminate and subject to the usual stock market sentiments.
The only figure which is able to be determined is the figure on the day of occurrence of the consolidation: If immediately before consolidation the price is 4 cents, the price after a 1-for-10 consolidation will be 40 cents, trading will then continue beginning at 40 cents. Your share is worth more but you have less of them.
OZGEM is throwing an arbitary figure in to the discussion, the reality is who knows where it will go? History suggests that the SP will decrease. Might go up, too, but this possibility is not exactly a fair bet.
