hi,,from what I under stand of the frac spread is..
Its a fleet of about 40 trucks, each with approx. 1200-1300 hp pump\motors on the back of them (looks like a big garbage truck, i guess), they connect them all in series ( ithink) to produce 50000 hp to pump\ pressurise the well and push the fraccing fluids in through the petrified hole that they make before fraccing
this fluid is under hugh pressure and force the rock to fracture\split open , the stuff they put in the fluid holds the fractures\cracks open after the pressure is removed, which allows gas\oil to flow to the surface.
