Good point, as far as I understand if you keep making the same profit but the SP goes down drastically anyway, you run out of cash and need to cut dividends to preserve capital.
Is that correct? If ANZ's SP was at $1 and still made $4 billion a year, could it basically keep the dividend the same or?
