Most rain was inland and south of hedland,should not have had too much of an impact on mining op's I feel. You would expect that stockpiles of DSO was ready to go for transport across repairable [ monster machinery available ] dirt tracks just a few k's to the national highway,which normally floods between the Strelley and Degrey rivers,though I havn't heard that it had closed.All port facilities not effected. I see that the big boys had some minor dramas with rail. My heart bleeds. Anyway, the rain was welcome and good luck to south coast QLD
