It is truly amazing how quickly we have arrived at this point. As a nation Australia is inadvertently self-sabotaging our reputation as a trusted LNG exporter not only with our closest allies but globally. And for what purpose? If we significantly reduce our exported LNG then those trade partners simply look elsewhere for the stuff!We have an abundance of onshore gas waiting to be developed which will be crucial to the energy mix for decades to come.We are being absolutely crucified by the beaurocrats who are taking an irrationaly irresponsible approach to most policies it seems.
I am glad our trade partners are getting more vocal and are calling it out, that’s the only way these bastards in power will cop any flack!
