yup, thas what they have done. Should have just gone thru with the administration earlier. I think the thought of raising a quick 100million to line their pockets on the way out the door was too hard to resist. Also they didn't want to lose to the americans
Dalian is 19yuan down today to 380.5! This is now equivalent to the price we saw early April of $47 a tonne.
Dalian only allows the market to swing a maximum of 4% in any direction in one day. So the iron ore future is sittng at -4% for the entire day until tomorrow when it resets and starts again.
We are at the start of a week too, no weekend anywhere near sight to help slow the free fall. At this rate iron ore will be $46 on Friday...
