re: csl p/e to wot I too follow CSL and have heard negative press and disappointing result causing the price to come down. It is true to say that fund managers and brokers only recommend stocks when they are in their glory days when prices has already taken a run. I mentioned this to my broker commenting that analysts are so short sighted and don't tell you all the facts. In other words you need to make up your own mind. If you check the announcements over the last month you will see that at least 3 more institutions have been buying the stock. I questioned my broker why are they buying. Of cause he had no comment. Just take a look at Resmed and Sonic they travel on a high pe, not much profit and pay little dividend. Good post by the way.
