Hey Vistica, why believe any polling, or indeed any numbers at all?

Your comment sort of reminds me about all the punters who doubt the veracity of Chinese data as its issued. You know, they all say the numbers are fingered and fiddled.

The implication of course also being that Aussie data is beyond reproach.

But it isn't is it? The quarterly inflation data is neutered beyond belief: nearly everything that could affect the final number through large short term swings is removed from the calculations thereby misrepresenting the true situation.

The Morgan numbers are just one poll. If they are repeated at the next election the Libs are in serious trouble.

I'd put this down to many people hating Tone the Abbotts guts, the windbag Hockey who has yet to say anything of substance and the dour posse of has beens that would make up the front bench, ie Bronwyn Bishop, Kevin Andrews and the like. Living anachronisms.. Gawd help us.

The game has changed: Tone the Abbs has got to win this one now rather than just relying on Labor to lose. I doubt he's got it in him.

Australia will be the better for it if the Libs flame out.
