I agree poptop, the carbon tax is not going away. The risk for some companies (not CCF) is that the coalition could, through treasury, stop the funding of renewables and clean tech through ARENA and CEFC that was coming from the carbon tax proceeds, but no credible commentator that I've read believes that the carbon tax itself will be wound back.

Repealing the tax would be very difficult from an administrative and legal point of view, plus the greens will be strong in the senate for many years yet and they will never let Abbott ditch the carbon tax/ETS for his totally discredited 'direct action' policy.
