Tbh it was a BGS slip up, this is because and this is just speculation of the old board not being on top of things and it was also during the transition from old board to new board where we were the most vulnerable.
We had already done aero survey, so why would we pay for all that just so another company take it. 85% sure it was a slip up.
The only synergy with KOD I'm hoping for is infrastructure related i.e. roads, water and power. (50/50 split spending). Anything outside of this would be a detriment to what BGS has progressed thus far and KOD would be given a free ride which I don't want to happen.
No offence but it was BGS that even put KOD on the map by taking the risk first of drilling around those areas.
