Now for the kicker . . . Musk claims that $100 kWh cell price should arrive for Tesla by the end of this year. (Please allow slippage for "Musktime.") That's down from @ $550/kWh just 5 years ago with the average manufacturing price suggested to fall by 15-20% annually till at least 2020.

Look out gas peaker plants. They're coming for you.
