I meant that covid19 has had a minimal effect if any on the electrification of vehicles . Sales of electric cars currently may be down somewhat , however the market is still really in its infancy more broadly. I believe the market before covid19 (of electric cars) was constrained too because of the very tight supply of Li batteries.
Before covid19, there was building of and plans to build very large Li battery plants. There was also moves by outfits such as Ford , to move to complete electric vehicle manufacturing - those things have not changed.
The overall momentum of the move to electric vehicles is still the same as 'pre covid19'. - IMO
