Well, there's a fairly stong technical resistance at $1.40 so maybe other buyers would come in there anyway.
Haven't looked at the buy/sell recently but in the last few months there has been a big sell order placed usually 10c above current price. I always figured this was to put buyers off and keep the price at a controlled level ($1.50-1.70 or so).
If they have an internal valuation above, say, $2.00 they probably don't care too much.
