Shouldn't we have expected the SP to hover at around 8c after the cap raising? If long-term holders were not willing, or not asked, to pay more, why would the market have the confidence/motivation to do so?
By the way this isn't a comment on the price paid in the recent cap-raising. Although I think that actually does give some indication about the position of the company ATM.
