Also, the organic "standard" that they use allows for IMPORTED organic food: https://aco.net.au/organiccertification/importing/
It's important to note that there is no real Australian organic standard consensus. Also, "because of the lack of domestic standards, Australia could not require organic imports to be grown to a particular standard without infringing the national treatment provision of the World Trade Organization" (http://orgprints.org/13238/1/13238.doc), thus even imported organics into Australia don't have to meet any one organic standard. In fact, you can create your own if you like.
So read the label when you buy organic. It's important to know which standard suits you if you are really interested in organics and you cant grow yer own.
The other thing to note is that growing hemp SHOULD be grown almost organically as it has few pests (no insecticides and fungicides required) and requires relatively few inputs:
