Fortnite is a tricky one. Part of the appeal of games like PUBG, Fortnite and others in the same format is that you just log on, press play and you get matched with randoms almost immediately and the game starts.
There's less to sell to the playerbase in terms of convenience.
The value add for ESH, however, is the competitve element. With a tournament format where you host 20 matches then take the top 5 from each of those (for example), I think you could generate a lot of interest. Prizes and streaming the final would be awesome. I think the community would get behind that.
Further incentive for Epic Games putting Fortnite on MA is to give streamers the opportunity to organise their own matches with their fans, subscribers, etc. I think that's something that could potentially get some traction.
Lastly, intuitive stat-tracking would add a bit of depth to the Fortnite experience, which is lacking in that department.
All of the above could also be applied to PUBG.
