if your 'patient prudent investor' has got out of stocks and is waiting to buy in - because they are a 'value' investor - then, it's odds on they are invested in cash
if anyone thinks cash is safe at a time like this - they have rocks in their head
entire national economies are at huge risk here
so - your patient disciplined prudent investor has as much chance of getting their arse burned away as anyone else I'm afraid
