Article in melb age says cus has risen to second slot among australia`s atm providers, after aquiring 3300 machines, from macqarie.
It also says the deal will take the number of atm`s run by customers to more than 5000 and brings customers closer to its main rival, cashcards, aust. biggest operator.
Many of the senior management of customers used to work for cashcards before it was taken over 2 years ago bu US company "first data corporation".
The macqarie bank subsidy, called macquarie payments infrastructure holdings that purchased "ATM solutions" from the BOQ just 18months ago for $64mill then went on to expand the original network of 2400 machines by buying a further 900 machines by acquisitions during its breif ownership.
It appears reading the article that macquarie paid $64mill for the first 2400 BOQ branded machines, and then went on to purchase a further 900 machines at additional cost, but i`m not sure.
So the 3300 machines may have owed macquarie more than the original $64mill, anyone care to comment?
