    TBE its not that i didnt read your previous posts on this issues - its just that i dont think you appreciate the differences in the fee model, post direct charging. The banks largley ARE being cut out from the 'value chain' to the extent that a consumer is not using their atms. Thats why D/C is being heralded as a one in a generation change to the industry. It will lead to a "doubling" of revenue and a huge benefit to the bottom line (NPAT - as otherwise costs are largely remaining the same). That is why the banks have been dragging their feet on this industry change for so long as they stand to lose significant amounts of fee revenue - of course they could supplement this by setting up a huge fleet of their own atms to pick up convenience fees however CUS and cashcard have locked up a lot of the convenience market. I agree with you to the extent that dynamic pricing also will provide a significant benefit to the bottow line.
