re: medical breakthrough-good news BTA has a had a major sell down ever since the BIG shop boys looked to take control and lost.

This line of stock is an overhang and the news out today saw the stock spike and may have provided bigshop an opportunity to exit some of their stock.

If they were to do this it could see BTa re reratedagain and get back up to its old favourite amongst traders and health and biotech shareholders.


BTa efforts on influenza and now aids is seeing it as serious player in its sector and not the company Big shop proported.

PRR another was another bio stock who announced outstanding trial results today on its malaria ressearch on small animals ,its great to see the companies who are doing the hard work in a difficult market beginning to get some results that will reward their efforts ,not only in finding cures for major illnesses but in the financial aspect of their investment as well.

I hold both PRR more recently and BTA as a long term stock in my super fund
