Customer Development Update

Dear Shareholders,

I am writing to share results of last week’s Techtextil North America Conference, the only trade show in the Americas dedicated to technical textiles and nonwovens.

Conference exhibitors were from 29 countries, and attendees included high-level industry executives, buyers, engineers, media and managers in the areas of technical and product development. Estimated attendance at Techtextil was over 760 exhibitors and 9,000 visitors.

Our sales representatives had excellent success in conference meetings, presenting a compelling case that Alexium’s products can meet specifications and performance metrics for their needs. Much of this was due to the extensive work that has been done by our Product Development team on various applications of the Alexiflam family of products.

At the three-day conference, our sales team who manned the exhibit met over 100 current and potential customers. More than 25 new lab projects have already been initiated as a result of meetings at the conference.

The interest on the part of conference attendees and the media was also proof of increased awareness of Alexium in the market. Attendees actively sought out the Alexium booth so that they might have conversations with our sales representatives, and a reporter from a major industry trade publication also visited the booth requesting an interview with Alexium. (That article is now in development; the publication date is yet to be finalized.)

We continue to see sales growth, and we are confident of our mid-year and 2016 goals.
