Unfortuately the ADF can't just go and buy anything at any time. It is all planned and budgeted for in the Defence Capability Plan (DCP). The project that MAY have procured MST product (3GL) is Project Land 125 Phase 3. Unfortunately it looks like THALES have been chosen to design the the F88 replacement/enhancement (EF-88).
Therefore even if the ADF likes MST products they won't buy it becausethere is no gap in capability as the gap is being filled by Land 125.
It all comes down to timing and I think we've pretty much missed the boat with the ADF hence looking at offshore markets.
