If Maul/3GL are successfully sold to the US and others, there will no doubt be a persuasive case to equip our troops - political pressure can be brought to bear as well as common sense. But until then, probably no real prospect for Aust. forces I would think. Although we as a nation come up with many innovative ideas and products, many end up overseas before being bought back for our own use. Historically, our decision makers are very conservative and not inclinded to pioneering.
