    i think open briefings have it all over brr interviews.

    fwiw, i note that CUS are very careful not to mention increases in NPAT as a result of direct charging.

    i can guarantee that transaction fees will be more around the 2.80 mark or above within six months (esp where there is limited competition) to capitalise on their competitive position.

    in the UK, direct atm charges range from about GBP 1.50-2.50 which is about aud 3.20 - 6.00. funnily enough, the banks dont charge you to use any of their atm's regardless of whether you are their customer or not. strange, but there is far more bank competition here in the UK with the global banks, the european and then the numerous local banks/credit unions(less numerous with the mergers).

    CUS are being very coy to avoid community backlash, but at the end of the day they are providing a very valuable service, especially to rural communities by providing valuable cash to their economies. havng lived in a small town for 4 months, something as small as an atm makes a huge difference to the flow of funds.

    CUS looks good. hoping for some price weakness.
