Another piece of mis information going around is htat you have to be a share holder to take part in a class action.
You DON'T.

If you held shares and were holding in the date / time frame of proven mismanagement or fraud, or whatever the story is with any particular share, you can take part in the class action.

I would think that in this case it will mean that most holders from last year, and all from this year could be entitled to take part if we got it together. MAny big holders sold last week, from the private ranks of the register.

YES - they are still entitled to take part.

I had contact from Slater and Gordon re the CNP class action, and checked the dates they gave, and didn't even realise I was entitled to be part of it! Hadn't held them for many months, but I received the contact letter.

So if a big name takes it on, they will contact everyone that was on hte register in applicapble dates.

Just keep your trading history. A print out of buys and sells from your portfolio manager, and let's see what happens.
