Cutting Corporate Income Tax is an absolute no-brainer.
Firstly , unless we do , we will be highly uncompetitive when compared to our peers and fail to attract badly needed investment.
Secondly, the extra money that corporations will be left with will either go to new investment , or, paid out in dividends.
This benefits everybody . Most if not all, super funds have shares in big banks , big resource companies , retailers , etc
Thirdly, the boost to investment and increased returns to shareholders will be taxed as usual and help to offset the reduction in Corporate Tax.
Astounding that we have not heard any coalition politician explain this properly to the community. Not really surprising I suppose , as they aren't exactly loaded with intellect.
