Socialism certainly does not work , plenty of evidence for that through out history , you would then ask the question why is Australia going down that path ? The difference between the US and Australia is that key word " productivity " productivity is greater in the US so while debt is a problem it is not as big an issue as here where Australia has the mantra of more wages and less work . Canberra and the ABC being the capital of zero productivity .
