Sorry Mookie. Your post is against the grain of negative opinion which is backed up by what has been happening over the last month. I admire you for holding, but you cannot blame anyone for this. Who cares about how a recession is defined. The smart money have already predicted this and have started to short the market eg. Goldman Sach. which by the way have already publically stated that we are in recession. Do you need the beuocracy of the US to publically anncounce it before you act? You would be left for dead!
One could ask, where was your insight before the market started to tank? Did you predict a bull run, if so you were wrong and your judgement ought to be examined. I think its a bit disingenuous to start mocking those that predicted the Bear, while praising those that predict the good times.
These things happen and you have an opportunity to short the market, or buy some stocks cheap.
