Why has the price of some foods tripled?

    Just as one example.........

    Lettuce, from $1.50 > $4.50

Very few items on special anymore,

even not printing catalogues of late.

Coles ARE selling mince cheaper, but it's not even worth that.

Where is all their T/Paper going?

After 10 weeks, shelves are still bare,

eventhough manufacturers have gone to double shifts.

Must be selling it elsewhere, for a higher price than

they can get in Australia ?

The myth of Australians standing by eachother, and supporting

eachother in hard/difficult times, doesn't apply to some businesses,

and especially NOT to supermarkets it seems.
