One thing that's puzzling me, and I've seen nothing about planning around it, is what is Prima's production capability and where is the facility for servicing the expected Middle East market?
One of the problems Dendreon had immediately after the FDA approval was an inability to ramp up production to meet expected demand. This factored significantly into the pullback in the SP I believe. Not sure what their current status is, but I'm pretty sure they're well down the line to addressing this.
Producing the vaccine is a highly intensive and expensive laboratory process.
There is nothing in the announcement about this issue.
Does anyone have any info? Maybe someone could email Martin - I don't want to bombard his Inbox, and besides, I've done my bit!
